1. To group several products together. Very common in discount stores where, for e.g., several shampoo bottles are put together to sell in multiple quantity.
2. Can also be used to group main items with promotional items together, eliminating the need of handling separate promotional goods, thus avoiding theft and loss in handling.
3. As a guarantee / freshness seal for product.
4. To protect product from dirt and scratches.
5. To improve product presentation. Product wrapped with shrink film looks more glossy (usually perceived as better looking).

1. Putting the shrink film sleeves manually and passing the product (with shrink film) through a heater and conveyor system called "Shrink Tunnel".
2. For sample purposes, heat from hair dryer can also be used.
3. Mass production application usually employs automatic machinery to put the sleeve onto product together with automatic heating.

2. As a label for product identification (commonly used in mineral water bottles).

  (machines ranging from 90 metric Ton to 370 metric Ton clamping force, at present)

Our machines range from 90 Ton to 370 Ton clamping force.
